Hello! Friday, I had the pleasure of attending this year’s Black Sheep Gathering. For some a festival may seem like a simple event to attend, but for myself this was quite an endeavor. I was not at this event for a long time, but I made the most out of the capacity I had. Since this year was my first time going, it was also more overwhelming due to unfamiliarity. Despite these challenges, I enjoyed my time there very much. I only got fiber this year and I did not have capacity to check out the fleece show. That just means I have some different priorities at the Flock and Fiber festival in October than what I initially planned. I also thought it was really neat to stroll around the different booths and know they are all mostly local businesses. That takes a lot of weight of my shoulders. I don’t have too much to say about what I purchased other than I have some pretty cool project ideas in the works for these vibrant fiber braids. I can’t wait to show you all how they spin up.
