Fidgets, My First Tapestry, and More!

Hello! Today I have quite a few different things to share. First, a friend had the lovely idea to make a bee in a flower rather than a clownfish in an anemone. So, I got to searching and sure enough I found a pattern for that exact idea. I quickly got to work, and soon enough I had a bee in flower fidget! I’m hoping with some of the patterns I already have, I can learn enough from them to make my own fidget pattern at some point. I’ve got some practice to do before that though :). I also found a pattern tutorial on YouTube for a reversible octopus, which I thought would be very handy to have around. For the tapestries, I started with the flower and then the next morning I completed the smile and frown one. I definitely need to refine my process a bit, so they have a cleaner outcome. I found out after I completed both tapestries that I was doing intarsia crochet, which is not usually what people start with. Unless you aren’t paying attention haha. I thought I should also throw in a few photos of new vending machine stuffies as well, since I had made different ones since last week. Well, that’s all I have for this post. Bye for now :).

  1. It is wonderful that you successfully completed a project that could have been considered advanced for your skill level at this stage and you weren’t intimidated by it. Well done. You improve each and every day. -M
