Sassy Cat Crochet

Hello! My new oceanic additions Chandler, Frankie, and Sal jr. were created alongside the garden friends I made last week. Janice on the other hand was actually made back in January. Chandler, Frankie, and Jr. got the new safety eyes like the garden friends. Although, Chandler and Jr. got some of the plain ones. For Janice I embroidered the eyes since I didn’t have safety eyes at that time. Always good to have some embroidery skills anyways. Chandler was a very quick project that only took about 15 mins. His little claws are only one layer so that helped speed things up. I attempted to make Frankie a clownfish, but it did not turn out how it was supposed to. The fin on top is the wonkiest part haha. I made him close enough for a first try though so it’s all good with me. Frankie is still cute in my book. Happy to report that Jr. turned out exactly how I wanted from the start! It’s slightly smaller than the original Sal, and I had the perfect amount of scrap yarn left to make it. Couldn’t have asked for anything more. Glad I finally have somewhere to add Janice too, even though I never planned to make a lot of ocean dwellers haha. Well, that’s all I have for this post. Bye for now :).
