Hello again :). I had some miscellaneous makes from last week that I wanted to share in a separate post from the ocean additions. The star bag is the highlight of the projects in my opinion. I had only made my granny square tote before this bag and was pretty nervous about the process. However, I was pleasantly surprised that my pattern reading skills have improved, which then made making this bag much easier to accomplish than I had previously thought. Seth is made out of some left over blanket yarn I had, that surprisingly worked really well for snake colors. Seth also got the first set of reptile safety eyes. The hanging plant felt like it took forever, and I didn’t even make the pot for it to sit in yet! In reality it probably took an 1hr 30mins, but it felt a lot longer because I was very confused on the instructions haha. Once I was done with the plant part though, I quickly realized the appeal of the fake crochet plants. They are so cute, and they can’t die! Best of both worlds if I don’t say so myself. Finally, I always need more scrunchies. Who can resist? If I ever have leftover hand-dyed yarn, that I don’t know what to do with, it becomes a scrunchie. I can never have enough. Well, that’s all for this post. Bye for now :).
