Newest Handspun Yarns

Hello! Long time no see. In the time I’ve been away from you all, I have been spinning like mad. I recently got some more fiber to add to my stash and have been practicing a lot more since then. The main technique I’ve been practicing is chain plying. The chain ply technique is used most often in the case of longer gradients such as Victoriana and Quackery in the photos above. This is used in order to keep the color sections together, rather than splitting them up and laying the opposite ends over one another like Austin and Boujee. All the skeins you see above have been spun through the months of late December – late March. Through those months, I’ve fluctuated on spinning more or less depending on energy level. Although I still managed to spin at least 1 fiber braid per month. Other than spinning, I have still been knitting, and weaving. Not up to as much crochet at the moment, though I have some projects planned that will hopefully get me back into the swing of things again. Well, that’s all I have for this post. Bye for now :).

Sass served with every stitch ;)
