New Tools

Hello! This week the rest of the general tools I need for spinning were delivered on Thursday. I think I finally have all the equipment necessary now for fiber processing from start to finish. I can tell you that there are some exciting new paths coming now that these tools are in my possession. The hand carders and blending board happen to open up the most options, which were also the ones I was most ecstatic about coming. They allow for prepping cleaned fleece and locks, as well as blending up solid color roving into multicolored rolags or batts. My new favorite diz is also a fantastic addition to my fiber prep tools. It’s by far the sturdiest one I have. The drying rack and salad spinner are both great to add to my toolbelt as well. They’re going to be most helpful with drying my handspun yarn and ringing out raw fleece. The diz with the threader was made by an independent artist from the last fiber haul I purchased. It just happened to arrive later than the rest of the original package. Finally, I received my 6 new bobbins, which will allow me to start more than one skein of yarn at a time. All very exciting if you ask me haha. Well, that’s all I have for this post. Bye for now :).

Sass served with every stitch ;)
