Hello! First off, I hope everyone’s Sunday was filled with love, laughter, and joyous memories made with the special women in your lives! I know I thoroughly enjoyed my Sunday. Today I am finally able to show off the projects I was working on last week. To start, I originally had planned to leave the world’s best mom tapestry alone and frame it. Then, I figured out how to turn tapestries into bags or pillows. I decided to go with turning the tapestry into a pillow instead of framing it. Next up are the bellbottoms. The pants took up most of my week, mainly because I had to ensure I was getting my measurements correct. That meant a lot of trying on the pants, undoing sections, redoing sections, lots of math, and rewriting the pattern I was also making for future references. It was all worth it in the end though. The bellbottoms turned out to be a perfect fit, length, and had a little drape to them. Which I was not expecting from a blanket yarn. They are some pretty neat pants if I don’t say so myself haha. Now the steppingstone was very fun to make. It had been years since I’ve made one, and I had never gotten to put tiles in the layout I preferred until this stone. Only took about 2hrs to put it together, and 24hrs to cure fully. Overall, a very fun gift to make. Lastly, I wanted to include some kitten photos of my cats since all of their birthdays are in the first half of May. Alfie turned 8, Loki turned 4, and Lunatic is 3. I’m so happy to have each of them in my life, and I’m grateful for every moment I have with them. Well, that’s all I have for this post. Bye for now :).
